“AMBASADOR ASTĂZI” - CONFERINȚA INTERNAȚIONALĂ LAUDER DE DIPLOMAȚIE ȘI AFACERI GLOBALE DEDICATĂ ELEVILOR DIN BUCUREȘTI ȘI ISRAEL, Ediția a 7-a

Joi, 22.03.2018, ora 09:00, la Sala Duca a Palatului Parlamentului, cu ocazia împlinirii a 12 ani de studii acreditate de diplomație, business și comunicare la Liceul Lauder-Reut și de parteneriat academic între Fundația Ronald S. Lauder România, Complexul Educațional Lauder-Reut și Ministerul Afacerilor Externe, Institutul Diplomatic Român și Centrul Universitar israelian IDC Herzliya – Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and Strategy și Raphael Recanati International School, elevii Complexului Educațional Lauder-Reut, împreună cu peste 270 de invitați de vârsta lor – Consiliul Elevilor București, reprezentanții a 26 de unități de învățământ din București și din Israel – au participat la cea de a șaptea ediție a Conferinței internaționale de diplomație și afaceri globale – «2Day Ambassador».

 Deschiderea Conferinței a avut loc în prezența Viceprim-ministrului, doamna Ana Birchall, a reprezentantului Ministerului Educației din Israel, doamna Adi Yahalomi Moshe, Director pentru educația iudaică în diaspora, a Ministrului Afacerilor Externe, domnul Teodor Meleșcanu, împreună cu gazdele evenimentului, E. S. Ambasadorul Statului Israel în România, doamna Tamar Samash și doamna Tova Ben Nun-Cherbis, Președintele Complexului Educațional Lauder-Reut, precum și alături de Board of Trustees al acestei instituții și numeroși invitați speciali, personalități ale lumii diplomatice și politice interne și internaționale, dintre care amintim pe ambasadorii Sorin-Dan Mihalache, Emil Hurezeanu, Lazar Comanescu, Adrian Cioroianu și Andreea Păstîrnac.

 Tova Ben Nun-Cherbis: Şcoala noastră şi-a asumat o sarcină dificilă, dar nobilă: să crească tinerii pentru a fi liderii lumii de mâine. Deci, sunteţi ambasadori în adevăratul sens al cuvântului. Vă reprezentaţi pe voi înşivă, dar şi valorile pe care vi le dăm mai departe, pentru a crea un viitor stabil.

 Mesajul prim-ministrului Viorica Dăncilă a fost transmis de vicepremierul Ana Birchall, care, la rândul său, a subliniat rolul diplomaţiei drept cel mai important instrument pentru dezvoltarea colaborării între state şi eliminarea eventualelor conflicte.

 Diplomaţia este un fel de artă, iar obiectivul principal al ambasadorilor este interesul naţional, a afirmat ministrul de externe, Teodor Meleşcanu. Şeful diplomaţiei române consideră că educaţia este investiţia cea mai importantă pentru a avea o evoluţie pozitivă a întregii societăţi: Chiar dacă nu toţi dintre ei vor ajunge să lucreze în Ministerul de Externe sau să lucreze în alte instituţii pe probleme diplomatice, faptul că dobândesc o cultură politică de relaţii internaţionale le va fi foarte utilă în calitatea lor de cetăţeni educaţi, care să poată contribui la o evoluţie pozitivă a societăţii româneşti, deci, este cea mai bună investiţie pe care o facem şi ne gândim cu plăcere în continuare la posibilitatea noilor generaţii să ne ia locul.

 Ambasadorul statului Israel în România, Tamar Samash, le-a vorbit tinerilor despre legătura puternică între cele două ţări, bazată pe valori comune, în cei 70 de ani de la înființarea Statului Israel, care a devenit una dintre cele mai dezvoltate ţări din lume, inclusiv datorită diplomaţiei: Drumul nostru nu a fost uşor şi nu este uşor nici acum. Am reuşit însă să ne găsim propria noastră cale. De aceea vă doresc tuturor să vă găsiţi propriile voci, să credeţi în voi înşivă şi să nu renunţaţi niciodată la valori şi vise. Chiar dacă drumul este greu, merită.

La finalul evenimentului, vicepremierul Ana Birchall şi ministrul de externe Teodor Meleşcanu au primit distincţii din partea Ministerului Educaţiei din Israel, reprezentat de Directorul pentru educația iudaică în diaspora, doamna Adi Yahalomi Moshe, pentru colaborarea excelentă şi sprijinul acordat şcolii Lauder-Reut din Bucureşti.

 Conferința este inițiată și organizată de Fundația Ronald S. Lauder Romania - Complexul Educațional Lauder-Reut și se desfășoară anual sub auspiciile Parlamentului României – Camera Deputaților, Ministerului Afacerilor Externe, Institutului Diplomatic Român, Ministerului Educației Naționale, Ambasadei Statului Israel în România, Primăriei Sectorului 3, Inspectoratului Școlar al Municipiului București. În mod tradițional, Conferința se bucură de suportul misiunilor diplomatice străine la București, anul acesta fiind alături de noi, pentru activitatea de internship a elevilor și la panelurile de dezbateri: Argentina, Armenia, Austria, Canada, Croația, Cehia, Germania, Grecia, Italia, Japonia, Olanda, Norvegia, Polonia, Slovacia, Slovenia, Israel, Mexic, Statele Unite ale Americii și Sfântul Scaun. Liderii celor 19 ambasade, alături de Ministerul Afacerilor Externe și de Institutul Diplomatic Român oferă elevilor Liceului Lauder-Reut stagii de o zi la sediile lor, pentru aprofundarea practică a studiilor de diplomație pe care elevii le urmează în școală.

 Ediția de anul acesta s-a înscris în dubla celebrare a 70 de ani de la înființarea Statului Israel și a Centenarului românesc, în virtutea relațiilor neîntrerupte de prietenie între cele două țări, bazate pe pace, cooperare și dezvoltare comună în domenii diverse.

 Întregul eveniment a avut următorul program:

  1. pe data de 20.03.2018 - elevii cursului de diplomație și relații internaționale de la Liceul Lauder-Reut au participat la stagii de o zi în sediile misiunilor diplomatice partenere ale Conferinței;
  2. pe data de 21.03.2018 – s-a desfășurat întâlnirea și masa rotundă cu campionii europeni la competițiile internaționale de debating, la Hotelul Marriott, precum și concursul de public speaking în cadrul căruia elevii au susținut poziția ambasadelor vizitate pe tematici privind relațiile bilaterale pe domenii relevante de dezvoltare (educație, economie, știință, inovație etc.) dintre România și țările ale căror ambasade au fost vizitate, precum și modalitățile de încurajare a tinerilor spre cariera diplomatică.

Câștigătorii concursului de public speaking 2018 ne-au uimit cu elocința lor și sunt:

    1. Andrei Nițulescu, reprezentând Ambasada Armeniei, i-a făcut o surpriză Ambasadorului Armeniei, E. S. domnul Sergey Minasyan, care s-a aflat in panelul vizând provocările și satisfacțiile din viața unui diplomat, alături de omologii săi, Ambasadorul Slovaciei, E. S. domnul Ján Gábor și Ambasadorul Statelor Unite Mexicane, E. S. domnul José Guillermo Ordorica Robles
    2. Tudor Cobrea, în postura de ambasador al Statului Israel
    3. Ioana Mogoș, susținând poziția Statelor Unite ale Americii

3. pe data de 22.03.2018 - la Palatul Parlamentului, premierea câstigătorilor de la concursul de public speaking, dialog cu personalități publice din domeniu, panel pe teme de diplomație și comunicare publică, încheiate cu o ceremonie în cadrul căreia au fost premiați elevii participanți.
